How do I install on my tour 30 30 Marlin rifle?
I'm looking to put a sling on my rifle Marlin 30 30. I see a picture of them in one place web. This is a swivel-mounted magnetic tube and the other on the action. The back seems to be great for your child? In my action is what seems a plastic plug, maybe? My question is that there Predrill swivel and move in there? Thank you!
Bound husband here: Kahr T9 much on target. The plastic cover you see is the mark Marlin "Bullseye". You can actually ACQUISITION Sling Swivel Kit manufactured by Uncle Mike's Oregon (see link). The forward swivel clips actually in the magazine tube without drilling required! When drilling the population for the thick screw, be careful! Make sure the population is fortified, and preferably using a drill with a bit smaller than the coarse thread screws, drill a hole approximately 2 "heel of the butplate! Roll side of the threads in a bar of soap to lubricate a little saw, and towards the hand of big wire in the population. If you have any concern about the harm, possibly its stock, bring to a dealer to drill the hole for you. Some 'smiths actually install the swivel, no charge if you buy the media to articulate and good luck!
